PESHAWAR:
At least eight policemen were wounded when a Rapid Response Force (RRF) mobile was attacked in a roadside blast on Warsak Road within the jurisdiction of Mathra police station Thursday. According to the police, a RRF mobile was on routine patrol on Warsak Road. When it reached Darmangi, a roadside bomb went off near it, leaving eight policemen injured and the vehicle damaged. The injured were rushed to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) where one officer is in a critical state. A BDU official told The Express Tribune it was a remote-controlled device containing around 4.5 kilogramme explosive material and had been installed on the roadside.
