Your stars today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

It would be difficult to underestimate the influence of the bountiful Jupiter’s move into your opposite sign of Libra, and to accent close relationships. This indicates both that you’ll benefit from others but, also, that those you meet could be significant and, equally, lead to exciting and enriching new alliances.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

Ordinarily when you run into difficulties, you’ll analyse the problem, then decide what to do. But things are too complex for that. You’ll notice others are facing similar difficulties. You’re better off joining them to explore your options and, even more important, to exchange information about the results you achieve.

Gemini | May 20 – June 19

There are few things you enjoy more than a lively debate. You’ll sometimes even adopt a view very different from your own, just to encourage an enthusiastic debate. While, usually, that works brilliantly, with your ruler Mercury retrograde and triggering confusion, be cautious. Your intentions could easily be misunderstood.

Cancer | June 20 – July 21

Every sign is influenced by expansive Jupiter’s move into a new position, but you’ve good reason to celebrate. It’s now accenting where and how you live, and your activities out in the world. This means any existing plans will go brilliantly and, even more, surprise developments could bring unexpected joy.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

Sometimes obstacles are exactly that. However, the tricky series of aspects being formed by your ruler the Sun to several of the planetary powerhouses over the coming weeks, suggests that sudden and possibly unsettling difficulties could be thrilling opportunities, but in disguise. You owe it to yourself to at least explore them.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

Pay close attention to what appear to be petty disputes. While you’ve a knack for discerning between important issues and those that aren’t, with so much in your own life and around you changing, even you won’t necessarily know what’s what, at least right away. For now, draw no conclusions.

Libra | September 22 – October 21

It’s easy to forget that, by its nature, progress means leaving certain elements of the past behind. While, in certain situations, this will be a relief, in others it could seem worrying, if not a serious problem. For now, wait and watch. You’ll soon recognise just how beneficial these changes will be.

Scorpio | October 22 – November 20

Even those Scorpios who dismiss relying on intuition, long ago learnt such feelings can’t be ignored. You may be one of them. If so, you’ll not only need to acknowledge these to yourself, in certain situations you’ll have no choice but to discuss them with others, as well.

Sagittarius | November 21 – December 20

The fast-moving cycle kick-started by your ruler Jupiter’s move to accent your achievements, a year ago, is ending. In fact, now that Jupiter’s in the sociable Libra, your focus will shift from what you can do or achieve to those whose company you like, for a day or, possibly, much longer.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 19

Living with uncertainty isn’t easy. But with eclipses shaking things up, on the 1st and 16th of September, even seemingly simple arrangements won’t necessarily last as you hoped or intended. Resist the temptation to fix them and instead back off until after that last eclipse. Only then can you make lasting plans.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 18

During periods of rapid change, such as this is, relatively minor events can seem overwhelming. That’s mostly because they trigger memories from the past. While initially you may not be conscious of these, gradually you’ll realise they still hold a grip on you, and that with a little focus, you can let them go.

Pisces | February 19 – March 19

You’re not alone in struggling with the confusion triggered by the retrograde Mercury. While you’re coping with the resulting twists and turns well, you worry about the impact of unsettling events on others. Actually, if they’re complaining, it’s so they’ll have an excuse for avoiding certain issues, so by no means deserve your sympathy.
