MULTAN:
The district administration has set up two more cattle markets in the district to facilitate people looking for sacrificial animals. According to officials, the administration had earlier set up four cattle markets in the district. It has now set up two more markets -- one in Shujabad and the other in Jalalpur Pirwala -- to facilitate people. The district administration has banned sale of cattle in the city and collection of animal hides by unauthorised people. However, several non-government organisations have submitted applications seeking permission for collection of hides. The decision on these applications will be taken at a meeting of the district administration on September 9.
