PESHAWAR:
The police have arrested four men – all employees of a poultry farm – who allegedly facilitated the terrorists who attacked a Christian neighbourhood in Peshawar on Friday.

Four suicide bombers – armed with AK-47 assault rifles and hand grenades – were killed on Friday morning as security forces thwarted a possible carnage at the Christian Colony near Warsak Dam. One civilian, a Christian resident of the area, had died in the attack.

Talking to The Express Tribune, a police official said unlike the previous belief, the militants had entered Peshawar from Shabqadar in Charsadda district and spent the night at the poultry farm within the jurisdiction of Mathra area, and not in Aisha Kor in Shabqadar.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday claimed that the attackers were foreigners and had entered the city through tribal areas.
