Vocational training: China to help upgrade training facilities

China will help Pakistan in upgrading facilities including training electricians, computer programming and machinery

ISLAMABAD:
National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) has decided to upgrade its labs throughout the country to ensure skilled youth employment in different projects of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) with China’s assistance. The decision was made when a delegation of Tianjin Development and Reform Commission China met with NAVTTC Executive Director Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema on Monday. China will help Pakistan in upgrading several facilities including those for training electricians, computer programming and machinery. The meeting was organised with the aim to enhance cooperation and boost collaboration in various areas of technical and vocational sector in Pakistan.
