An actor committed suicide in Allama Iqbal Town on Friday night, police said. They said Nisha Malik, a resident of Huma Block, had locked herself in a room following an argument with her family. When a family member later broke into the room, she was found hanging from a fan. Quoting her neighbours, police said she was the only breadwinner in the family of 11. A film featuring Malik is scheduled to be released on Eidul Azha.
