‘Official’ Visit : Murad Ali Shah leaves for Dubai

The spokesperson of the CM House, however, termed the trip a routine matter

KARACHI:
Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah left for Dubai on Saturday to consult the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on matters pertaining to the provincial government setup, according to officials. The law and order situation, development schemes in Sindh and the situation in Karachi after the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s founding chief’s remarks against Pakistan will be discussed in the meetings, they added. The spokesperson of the CM House, however, termed the trip a routine matter, saying the chief minister will return to the city on Monday, September 5. The senior leadership of the party, including PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, are in Dubai at present, with the latter residing there for several months now.
