Sony’s Xperia Projector can turn any flat surface into touchscreen

Sony showcased its new Xperia Projector concept at the IFA 2016 fair in Berlin this week and it looks as if it has come out of sci-fi movie.
Xperia Projector, which were first revealed at the Mobile World Congress in February, can turn any flat surface into a touchscreen, removing the need for actual screens while still keeping all the fancy functionality around. The projector is capable of sensing gestures/hand movement thus allowing users to interact with projected objects.
Perfect for cases such as viewing maps on Google Earth, this concept device can also project onto a wall by being placed vertically.
Although Sony is yet to confirm whether this concept will launch, its 4k Ultra Short Throw projector is set to launch in November.

Along with the Xperia Projector concept, Sony introduced the Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact smartphones.
