Search and strike: Police arrest two suspects
The police official said they were also behind a blast on a cellphone shop in Shabqadar
SHABQADAR:
At least two suspected militants have been arrested by police in Shabqadar. They were identified as Qasim alias Ali and Waheed Gul alias Amir Sahab. Both men were riding on a motorbike on Blockade Road, Shabqadar when police arrested them and recovered a suicide jacket, two pistols and as many hand grenades. The suspects were involved in an attack on a police van which killed at least one police official and injured three others. The police official said they were also behind a blast on a cellphone shop in Shabqadar and they were involved in extortion cases.
