The national selection committee ignored former T20 captain Shahid Afridi along with middle-order batsman Umar Akmal and opener Ahmad Shahzad while selecting a team for the one-off T20I against England.

Pakistan crashed to a 169-run defeat in the third ODI against England, who had earlier amassed a world record total of 444 runs. The loss also meant that England has taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match ODI series.

Ahmad Shahzad and Umar Akmal were dropped from the squad on disciplinary grounds after the World T20.

Hyder Husain | 7 years ago | Reply Shoaib Malik is not fit to be in any of the three teams. He has no strokes to offer except playing towards third man or fine leg. He can not handle pace bowlers at all. He is a very ordinary bowler.
Naeem Shahzad | 7 years ago | Reply without shahid afridi the match will be bored.shahid afridi must be include in this match.and without shahid afridi lot of people will not watch the match with interesting.
