According to ICC’s media release, this will allow cricket fans the opportunity to apply to watch one of the 15 games in the tournament.
The ballot will be open for 30 days through their official website (www.icc-cricket.com/tickets) and fans can submit an application for as many games as they wish to attend.
England ODI captain Eoin Morgan said that his side is looking forward to the event. “We are really looking forward to the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 next year,” he said. “We’ve enjoyed a great summer so far and are looking to keep building ahead of next summer.”
Doubts over future of ICC Champions Trophy
He added: “I’m sure the fans will turn out as they did in 2013 to support what is a brilliant tournament to play in. With the top eight sides competing, every match counts, and we will be aiming to win them all.”
ICC Chief Executive David Richardson said: “The ICC Champions Trophy is an event where the top-ranked one-day sides go head-to-head in a format that leaves little margin for error. To ensure that cricket fans have the best possible opportunity to follow their favourite teams at three fantastic venues, we have opted to run a ballot and to keep ticket prices affordable.

The Oval will stage the opening match of the tournament on June 1 as well as the final on June 18.
Cardiff Wales Stadium will host four matches, including the first semi-final on June 14, while Edgbaston will host five matches, including India-Pakistan and Australia-England matches as well as the second semi-final.
