Pakistan lose to New Zealand

New Zealand beat the defending World Twenty20 champions Pakistan, by one run on Saturday.
Both New Zealand and Pakistan came into their second Super Eights match after being defeated by South Africa and England respectively, but it was New Zealand who proved to be the better side.
New Zealand had scored 133/7, against which Pakistan managed to score 132 runs for the loss of seven wickets.
From the Kiwis, Daniel Vettori led the way with 38 before he was run out in the last over. Brendon McCullum made 33 while Scott Styris's scored 21.
Pakistan put up a good fight, with Salman Butt making 67 and Abdul Razzak scoring 29, and took the match to an extremely close finish, but were unable to secure the 2 runs required off the last ball.
In bowling stats, Ian Butler took three wickets for 19 for the New Zealand side, while Abdul Rehman, from the Pakistani gave 19 runs and took two wickets.
