Doctors term cardiac-vascular arrest the reason behind Khurshid Alam's death
GILGIT:
Former Inspector General (IG) of Police Gilgit Khurshid Alam has passed away after a cardio-vascular arrest, hospital sources confirmed on Tuesday.
The deceased suffered from a health complication while playing tennis in Malak Saad Police Lines, following which he was taken to the Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar. Doctors pronounced him dead shortly after his arrival.
Distinguished bureaucrat AGN Kazi passes away
Alam, a brother of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's Qurban Ali Khan, had also served as Peshawar's Capital City Police Officer in 2002.
His funeral prayers will be offered in his ancestral town of Badarshi in Nowshehra district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
