Higher education: 37.66% pass BA, BSc exam at PU

The Punjab University on Monday announced results of its bachelors of arts and sciences degree programmes annual examination 2016
Of the 118,029 candidates who sat the exams, 44,450 were declared pass (37.66 per cent). All three top positions in the BSc annual exam were secured by female students. Ms Huma stood first by obtaining 702 (out of 800) marks, Zara Nasir second by obtaining 699 marks and Maryam Saba third by securing 697 marks.
In BA annual exam, the first position was secured by Mansoor Ali (665 marks) and second and third by Faryal Shahbaz (660 marks) and Ms Attiqa (655 marks). A prize distribution ceremony for position-holders will be held on Tuesday (930am) at the PU Al-Raazi Hall.
