Interrogation: Physical remand extended for Chotu Gang members

The suspects are wanted in several kidnap, murder and robbery cases among others

Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Wajahat Hussain Khan extended the physical remand of 16 members of Chotu Gang at a hearing on Monday.

Ghulam Rasool and 15 other members of his gang were brought to court amid tight security.

The police told the judge that they had not yet completed the interrogation and investigation of the charges against the accused and requested the judge to extend their physical remand.


The anti-terrorism court judge extended it for 19 days and told the police to produce them in court on September 17.

Journalists were not allowed at the hearing. The suspects are wanted in several kidnap, murder and robbery cases among others.
