The historical Katas Raj Temple near Chakwal is one of the most important sites for Pakistan's Hindu community and is used till this day by locals and Hindus who travel from abroad for the annual pilgrimage. Situated in Punjab's Katas Village, the temple complex dates back to 615-950 CE, and is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
