The Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) arrested on Sunday Tipu Sultan police station SHO Saleem Rajput for his involvement in kidnapping two citizens. Rajput was accused of kidnapping two traders from Saeedabad. “After kidnapping the traders, he had demanded Rs2 million from their families for their release and warned of dire consequences [in case] they did not comply,” said an AVCC official, Jahanzeb Khan.
