Looting hitch-hikers: Nine members of gang held

ISLAMABAD:
The Tarnol police have arrested nine members of a gang allegedly involved in looting hitch-hikers.
The suspects would loot citizens by giving them lift in their vehicles and offering their vehicles as public transport.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Asif Khan, Quaid Khan, Rasool Khan, Sartaj, Amar Ali, Sajjad Ahmed, Murad, Jibran and Tariq.
The police also recovered four 30-bore pistols and ammunition and a car (RIV-2900) and Toyota Hiace (C-1202).
Further investigation is under way.
