The 52-year-old actor says getting old 'isn't the easiest thing'
Courteney Cox, or Monica from Friends as we know her, has opened up about trying her hand at different things to fight ageing. The 52-year-old actor says she regrets opting for cosmetic procedures.
"Getting older has not been.. I don't think it's the easiest thing. But I have learned lessons," Courteney said in an episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls that aired on NBC on Monday.

"Sometimes you find yourself trying and then you look at a picture of yourself and go, 'Oh, God.' Like, you look horrible. I have done things that I regret, and luckily they're things that dissolve and go away. So, that's good, because it's not always been my best look. Now I just have a new motto: 'Just let it be,'" she added.
Courteney said that there's constant pressure on women in the industry to look exceptionally young which pushes them towards cosmetic procedures .

Her Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston, 47, too recently wrote an open letter stating she was sick of the "sport-like scrutiny and body-shaming that occurs daily under the guise of journalism".
