‘We are bound to be loyal to motherland’
Not a single student of a religious seminary has been found involved in terrorism activities so far, says Rehman
SUKKUR:
Pakistan is our motherland and therefore we all are bound to be loyal to our motherland, said Maulana Fazalur Rehman while addressing the media on Tuesday.
Raising the slogan of Pakistan Zindabad, Rehman said that Pakistan was created to exist in an honourable way. He condemned the hate speech of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and the attack on media houses in Karachi. The MQM was the brain child of former dictator General Ziaul Haq, he said, adding that today they (MQM) have become so powerful that they have started raising slogans against Pakistan.
Taking jibes at the Sindh government regarding its decision for registration of religious seminaries, Rehman said that not a single student of a religious seminary has been found involved in terrorism activities so far. He labeled the government’s decision of registering religious seminaries as a conspiracy and said that by doing so the government is trying to implement a ‘western agenda’.
