The Pakistan Test team, under the leadership of Misbahul Haq, are set to become the number one Test side in the ICC rankings for the first time since the official ranking system was introduced 13 years ago in 2003.

India, who are currently the best team in the world in the longest format of the game, had to win the current four-match on-going Test series against West Indies atleast 3-0 in order to cement their position at the top.

However, leading 2-0 after the first three Tests, Virat Kohli’s men were seemingly left frustrated with the bad weather in Port-of-Spain, where rain nearly washed out four of the five days, which means it is practically impossible for the current Indian side to bowl out the opposition twice in the day.

Knowing the imminent will eventually happen, Pakistan cricket team fans from all over the world took to Twitter to express their feelings, as they can’t wait to see their team on top of the rankings, especially knowing the fact that the current Test side is yet to play a match at home in nearly seven years.
