Filmmaker Shahzad Nawaz joins Paksarzameen Party

PSP is fighting for Pakistan and people should join its cadres, he told reporters on Sunday

Famous TV personality and filmmaker Shahzad Nawaz joined on Sunday Mustafa Kamal's Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP).



Talking to reporters at the Pakistan House in Karachi's PECHS area, Nawaz termed Pakistani nationalism as the major motivation behind his decision to join the PSP.

“Despite many problems in Karachi, here reside innumerable patriotic people who give lessons of Pakistani nationalism,” he said.

“Today, people are divided in two segments: hopeful and hopeless. It is said that we should only take care of our own house and not country."

He said the "PSP is fighting for Pakistan and people should join its cadres".



Nawaz, the man behind film ‘Chambaili’, which was released before the 2013 general elections, has been working in the field of applied visual arts, communication and media industry since 1992. He is a winner of 102 Creative Excellence Awards and citations in the area of communication arts.

PSP leader Mustafa Kamal while felicitating his party members on the occasion said with the passage of time a lot of people were joining the party.

“After political workers, people from showbiz industry have also been joining our cadres,” he said.
