Vocational training: Graduates get certificates
The ceremony also featured talks by those who had successfully completed the training last year

A ceremony was held at a private vocational training instituteon Wednesday to distribute certificates among graduates of a year-long training in fashion and textile design under the Prime Minister Hunarmand Programme. National Vocational Training and Technical Education Commission (NAVTTC) Executive Director Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he urged students to work hard in their professional lives. He said promotion of technical and vocational education would pave the way for country’s progress. This would help eliminate unemployment from the country, he said. The government is arranging trainings in marketable skills for the youth to help them become useful citizens of the country, he added. He urged the youth to use the opportunity and learn useful skills. The ceremony also featured talks by those who had successfully completed the training last year. They briefed the gathering about their professional engagements.
