Downpour in city: Hajj flights delayed due to rain

PESHAWAR: Torrential rain that lasted for a few minutes on Wednesday disrupted the routine of people in different localities of the provincial metropolis. Two Hajj flights were also delayed. As rainwater accumulated on the roads, some routes became impassable, affecting the flow of traffic and creating hurdles for pedestrians. The rain and storm caused problems to people trying to reach Bacha Khan International Airport to catch their flights for Saudi Arabia for Hajj. However, two flights that were to depart from BKIA on Wednesday got delayed.
