Power suspension continues for fourth day

Quetta and many other districts face difficulties owing to suspension of electricity and gas.

QUETTA:
Balochistan faces power suspension for the fourth consecutive day as electricity remains suspended in 14 districts causing inconvenience to locals.

Power was suspended after four transmission lines of 222 and 132 KV were blown up by Baloch insurgent groups in Bolan Pass between Mach and Quetta three days ago.

The supply of gas also remained suspended for the second day in Quetta, Ziarat, Pishin, Mastung and Kalat districts as suspected militants blew up two main gas pipelines on Tuesday.

Quetta and other districts are in grip of severe cold and suspension of gas has increased the difficulties of the people.
