According to details, Muhammad Sohail alias Adil, a resident of Dandi, had “kidnapped”, Saima*, 14, on August 11th, while she was returning home and sexually-assaulted her after taking her in the forest located on the outskirts of Shahbaz Pur.
Later on, he dumped the victim in a deserted area at the same locality.
Following the incident, a police team succeeded to arrest the suspect who during interrogation confessed his crime.
The victim also identified the suspect when the police team presented him before her for identification. Further investigation is under way.
