A flight of Pakistan’s national flag carrier was barred from entering into India’s air limits on Tuesday, Express News reported.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-894 was flying from Peshawar to reach Kuala Lumpur when it was told to change its route by the Indian aviation authorities.


Security beefed up along Pak-India border

The Indian government did not give any response when asked about the reason for not letting the PIA flight use the country’s air limits, sources said.

The airplane has now landed in Lahore and passengers have been asked to wait till further notice by the aviation authorities.
