Development: Microbiology society formed at AUST
ABBOTTABAD:
To encourage students to explore their talent, the department of microbiology at Abbottabad University of Science & Technology has formed a microbiology society. AUST Vice Chancellor Dr Iftikhar Ahmed inaugurated the society. Speaking to the students and teachers, the VC said such societies play a pivotal role in providing opportunities to students for research and testing their talent not only for their own career but also the country they belonged to. “We have to revive our friendship with books and research for producing desired results that are a must for meeting the challenges of the [present times],” he said. On this occasion AUST Registrar Dr Ayub Jadoon briefed the participants on the objectives and nomenclature of the microbiology society.
