Mysterious origin: Minor siblings die from poisonous gas

KARACHI: Two minor siblings died after reportedly inhaling poisonous gases inside their house in Muhammad Ali Society, Bahadurabad on Monday. The siblings were identified as eight-month-old Uzair and six-month-old Maher. One of their siblings was also admitted to a private hospital in critical condition. Police said both the children died due to the poisonous gases that emanated after their family had the house fumigated to kill insects. However, the victims’ family claimed a scrap dealer living next door fumigated his warehouse which caused the deaths of their children.
