Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has been presented with an honorary championship belt from the World Boxing Council (WBC) president. British-Pakistani boxer Amir Khan met the army chief at the General Headquarters to present the belt on behalf of the WBC president.

WBC president Mauricio Sulaimán honoured the army chief with the belt for his efforts to bring peace and harmony in the country.

In a picture shared by Amir Khan on Instagram, he thanked the WBC for allowing him to present the title to the army chief. The boxer also thanked ISPR director general Lt Gen Asim Bajwa as well.
