Independence Day: Around 2,500 cops to perform duty

The city’s forests will be scanned while security personnel on horses will patrol the city

ISLAMABAD:
The Islamabad Police have devised a plan vis-à-vis Independence Day celebrations.

Under the plan, around 2,500 police personnel will be deployed at different locations across the capital city to avoid any untoward incident.

Additional contingents of police, Rangers and FC will be deployed at all public places, parks and various other important locations.


The Reserve police will remain alert while Rangers and FC personnel will assist the police in performing security duties.

The city’s forests will be scanned while security personnel on horses will patrol the city.
