Increase in trade with Bosnia stressed
SCCI vice president assured ambassador of full support in emerging trade, investment activities.
SIALKOT:
Ambassador of Bosnia Herzegovina in Pakistan Arman Limo has said that Pakistan and Bosnia need to promote bilateral trade and investment as the current volume of trade is far below the potential of both countries.
He made these remarks while speaking to the business community at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on Tuesday. The ambassador said that both the countries have common religious and cultural relations that should be promoted to strengthen trade and economic ties.
He said that Bosnia is organising the 2nd International Investment Conference - Sarajevo Business Forum 2011 - on April 6-8 in Sarajevo, and invited Sialkot businessmen to participate in the event to explore more business opportunities.
He said that businessmen should consider Bosnia for joint ventures in the area of common interest. Many Pakistani products, including surgical instruments, sports goods, leather garments and textile have good potential in Bosnia and Pakistani businessmen should establish direct trade links in Bosnia to grab a better market share.
SCCI vice president assured the ambassador of full support in emerging trade and investment activities between the two countries.
