SUKKUR: Two of the four men kidnapped 10 days ago returned home safely on Tuesday morning.

Four residents of Thull, Allah Wasayo Mahar, Ali Nawaz Mahar, Abdul Rasheed Magsi and Ghulam Mustafa Gorchani, were kidnapped from near Nautal, Balochistan around 10 days ago.

Allah Wasayo and Ali Nawaz, who returned home, told journalists that the kidnappers had kept them at an undisclosed place in Bakhtiarabad, Balochistan. They had demanded ransom but Wasayo and Nawaz had told them they were too poor to pay.

“They let us go when we said that,” one of them said, adding that the kidnappers had blindfolded them and then freed them near Nautal on Monday night.

However, according to informed sources, they were only released after they managed to pay a cumulative sum of Rs150,000.
