The anti-corruption establishment, Sindh on Wednesday conducted a raid at the education department of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and seized record pertaining to the fake appointments of teachers and other staff. In a separate raid, the East anti-corruption deputy director raided the office of the District Municipal Corporation (DMC) Malir following reports of massive irregularities of funds. Talking to The Express Tribune, Anti-Corruption Director Nazar Mohammad Bozdar said,“After today’s action, we have started an inquiry into the matter and will lodge FIRs against those responsible for it.”
