May 12 riots case: Four MQM workers remanded
KARACHI:
The anti-terrorism courts' administrative judge remanded on Wednesday four suspects, said to be affiliated with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), in police custody for their alleged involvement in the May 12, 2007 riots. The police presented Hanif alias Gada, Imran alias Rangrez, Salman Rizvi and Nasir before the judge and informed that they were arrested on a lead given by an interned suspect, Aslam alias Kala. The judge allowed police to take the suspects with them for three days on physical remand.
