Ahmad claims CNS Golf Championship
Shoots 12-under-par 276 to finish ahead of rivals

Lahore Garrison Club’s Matloob Ahmad clinched the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Open Golf Championship at Karachi Golf Club yesterday with an aggregate score of 12-under-par 276.
Following Ahmad in second place was Shabbir Iqbal, who shot an eight-under-par 280, while Shafiq Masih rounded up the top three, thanks to his seven-under-par 281.
Elsewhere, in amateur gross category, Muhammad Sharif of Pakistan Navy won by scoring eight-over-par 296 gross, whereas Muhammad Ziaraf triumphed in net category by carding a two-under-par 286.
Meanwhile, in senior professional category, Imdad Hussain finished on top with a six-under-par 138, while Nasir Masih’s nine-over-par 153 elevated him to the top in junior professional category.
