India thrash Pakistan in Azlan Shah Cup

Defending champions India beat arch-rivals Pakistan 4-2 on Friday, registering their first win of the Azlan Shah Cup in Ipoh, Malaysia.
India took the lead in the 26th minute when Sardar Singh slammed in the rebound off a penalty corner but Pakistan’s skipper, Muhammad Imran, equalised in the 37th minute. India then hit back hard with goals in the 47th, 53rd and 56th minutes, earning a commanding lead. Kashif Ali converte a penalty corner in the 66th minute but the fightback was a little too late.
