Reshma Bano Qureshi, who was scarred from a tragic acid attack by her estranged brother-in-law in 2014, has made a powerful comeback.

She has been invited by the FTL-Moda, based in New York to walk the ramp at this year's New York Fashion Week, reports ScoopWhoop.

After the attack, Reshma became a beauty vlogger, and partnered with Make Love Not Scars -- a NGO which helps acid attack survivors with rehabilitation and treatment.

Reshma, who has never been outside of India, was overwhelmed when she was told she's been invited to walk the ramp in New York.
