The US Consulate in Karachi has released a video asking questions about cricket after watching the current England versus Pakistan Test match.

The video shows the US Consulate staff trying to decipher the game of cricket, asking ‘why is everyone so quiet’, ‘what are they running 30 yards to throw the ball’, and most importantly ‘why do you play a game for five days’.

They also comment on the audience’s choice of attire, since members of the crowd usually wear a tie and a blazer to Test matches in England.

NKAli | 8 years ago | Reply US Consulate employees...I could not agree more with you. Five days...five days on the field is a total waste of time, money and energy. The name of the game where power play is concerned is ODIs and T20s. That is a fast and combative format where only the best in all-round performance and ingenuity reach their winning goalpost. However, cricket is cricket and it's in the genes. Salams
