World Mathematics Conference starts tomorrow at GCU
Five day conference is being held with the collaboration of the European Mathematical Society (EMS).

The 5th World Conference on 21st Century Mathematics, being held at the Government College University (GCU), is going to start tomorrow.
The five day conference is being held with the collaboration of the European Mathematical Society (EMS).
European Mathematical Society president Prof Dr Marta Sanz-Solé will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony, which will be held at the Bokhari Auditorium on Wednesday at 9:45 am.
The GCU vice chancellor, Khalid Aftab, said ,“The interaction can lead to long term collaborations which would be beneficial for the development of mathematics in Pakistan,” Aftab said.
He also termed the conference an opportunity for young Pakistani scholars to interact with mathematicians from abroad and learn from them.
