Torture: Teenager allegedly raped, videotaped

RAWALPINDI:
The Saddar Bairuni police have arrested three men and a woman for allegedly raping a teenager, filming it, and then extorting her family to keep from releasing the video, The Express Tribune learnt on Wednesday. The fourth accused --- a woman --- has not been arrested yet.
The police identified the arrested woman as the sister of one of the male attackers.
The father of an 18-year-old woman had lodged an FIR against the accused, alleging that I* raped his daughter at the home of his sister N*, while M* recorded the rape, and A* shared the recording with others.
The complainant said that I* had also begun to blackmail his daughter after the incident and had extorted Rs350,000 from the victim’s family by threatening to release the recording.
The police registered a criminal case under multiple PPC sections.
Sources claimed that the victim and I* had been in a relationship, which the victim’s family disapproved of.
The source added that I* committed the crime after “being humiliated” and that the recording had been sent to an uncle of the victim.
