Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry claims his plot is being allotted to another Supreme Court judge
ISLAMABAD:
Former chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has written a letter to the incumbent CJP Anwar Zaheer Jamali, asking him to intervene in plot allotment dispute.
Chaudhry claims he should have been allotted a plot, which is now being given to another Supreme Court judge.
On July 9, the former CJP wrote he should have been granted the plot No 114-1, Street No 7, D12/21s Islamabad.

He sought intervention by CJP Jamali lest the plot is not given to him. Subsequently, Chaudhry wrote his second letter on August 2 for “early redressal of the issue of plot allotment”.
The issue is likely to create embarrassment for judiciary if the matter is not resolved, states the letter.
