KARACHI:
The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association  (PBSA) will send Imran Shehzad and Mohammad Sajjd to the inaugural Asian 6-Red Snooker Championship 2011 to be held in Thailand from February 13.

The cueists will compete against 42 other participants from 19 different countries. “This is the first time I’m participating in a 6-red tournament so I’m nervous,” Shehzad told The Express Tribune. “It’s a different format and if we lose one match we’re out.”

According to Shehzad, the on-going National Snooker Championship is helping him and Sajjad in terms of preparing for the tournament.

Meanwhile, the cueists will be accompanied by Abdul Wahid as team manager and Munawwar Hussain Shaikh as a delegate.
