Complaint withdrawn: Three thieves released in Haripur
“Foreign currency was also stolen from their pockets,” the official says

At least three thieves were released shortly after they were arrested for stealing. The decision was taken after the complaint against them was withdrawn.
A police official told The Express Tribune Pervez, a resident of Kholiyan village in Haripur visited a private hospital where a band of thieves stole cash worth Rs0.2 million.
“Foreign currency was also stolen from their pockets,” the official said.
He added the victim immediately registered a complaint with the local police station.
According to the official, the police monitored the CCTV footage of the hospital and identified three minors who had looted Pervez. Upon further investigation, the police identified their whereabouts and ordered their arrest.
