Monthly review: 35 wanted criminals taken into custody
RPO says police will continue targeted operations to prevent crime

At least 35 wanted criminals have been arrested while a large cache of weapons and explosives have also been confiscated by the police in Malakand Division during the past month. This was stated in a press release issued by police department on Tuesday.
As per the statement, the police department initiated action against various anti- state elements and seized explosives and weapons from their custody. It added the police raided various hideouts and seized arms and ammunition. These include explosive materials weighing up to 28 kilogrammes, 126 detonators, six hand grenades, a rocket, 13 Kalashnikovs, 116 pistols and thousands of bullets. The document further said police also nabbed 35 most wanted criminals, interrogated 917 suspects and also confiscated a large cache of narcotics and 971 litres of liquor.
Malakand Division RPO Akhtar Hayat Khan told journalists the police will continue its efforts against anti-state elements until they have been completely wiped out.
