Ailing former sportsman: CM announces Rs1m for cricketer
CM also directed health secretary Ahmed Bux Narejo to provide Hanif the best health facilities in the hospital

The newly appointed chief minister, Murad Ali Shah, visited former cricketer Hanif Muhammad at Aga Khan Hospital and inquired about his health on Monday afternoon. The 81-year-old sportsman was hospitalised early Sunday due to complications from a recurring cancer. Shah also prayed for his early recover and announced Rs1 million as financial assistance for the ailing former cricketer. CM also directed health secretary Ahmed Bux Narejo to provide Hanif the best health facilities in the hospital. “He is an asset of the country and he must be honored and treated accordingly,” said the CM. MPA Manzoor Hussain Wassan also accompanied Shah.
