Against The Law: Three arrested in Nowshera

NOWSHERA: At least three people were arrested for running a fake fertiliser company in Risalpur, Nowshera. An official privy to the development told The Express Tribune the three workers of the company were arrested in a raid carried out on the directives of the district administration. “It is against manufacturing rules to run such a company,” Nowshera Assistant Commissioner Abdul Hameed told The Express Tribune. According to the AC, all three men were involved in manufacturing fertilisers without having a legal licence. More than 300 hundreds bags of DAP and super fertilisers were also confiscated from their possession. An FIR was registered against the owner and investigation is under way.
