LSA 2016 red carpet: Suns among the stars
The Express Tribune gives you a round-up of the top three looks that stood out as truly unforgettable!
KARACHI:
The 15th Lux Style Awards (LSAs) witnessed the crème de la crème of Pakistani showbiz don all kinds of looks. From elaborate ball gowns to a pair of casual jeans even, the stars of the night were spotted making style statements in their own right. The Express Tribune gives you a round-up of the top three looks that stood out as truly unforgettable!
Meesha Shafi
The Waar actor is always a red carpet favourite. What is great about Meesha’s style is that even though she likes to keep her look funky and interesting, she also knows when to stop. The starlet was spotted wearing a monochrome Vickteerut ensemble. The cut-out top was flattering to her toned body and we loved how she added drama (as she always does) to her outfit by accessorising it with a truly eye-catching ring-bracelet cuff. She kept her hair and make-up classy, with a soft blow-dry and winged eyeliner.
Nabila
The hair and make-up extraordinaire looked every bit the part, proving that beauty and style are ageless! Matching head-to-toe, she donned a stark white Issey Miyake crumpled wrap with white pants, and paired her outfit with white pointy pump heels. Nabila accessorised with stunning diamond studs which were enough to make her stand out in the crowd. Classic gelled back straight hair and smoky brown eyes completed her look. A perfectionist at heart, she chose an outfit of crinkly material because she despises wrinkled clothes and keeping in mind the duration of the award ceremony, she wanted to make sure her outfit remained on point throughout. A style star with wit, what more does one need?
Amna Babar
Dressed in a slinky monochrome Sana Safinaz gown, the model proved that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. She kept her accessories minimal by only wearing a pair of dangling earrings and opted for sleek straight hair. The gown was tailored to perfection and was truly fit her petite physique precisely. The figure-hugging ensemble, in an opulent silk fabric fit her in all the right places. For someone who understands understated elegance well, Amna proved that this look translates onto the red carpet as well as it does anywhere else!
