One official killed, 15 injured in twin bomb attacks near Rangers headquarters in Larkana
According to reports, 15 others including, three Rangers personnel sustained, injuries in the twin attacks

One Rangers official was killed and at least 15 others in two bomb attacks near Rangers headquarters on Miro Khan Road, Larkana on Saturday.
Security sources said the first bomb was planted on a bicycle parked outside the Rangers Headquarters which exploded as a Rangers convoy passed by. The second bomb was hidden inside a garbage can.
Two Pakistan Army personnel killed as vehicle targeted in Karachi
Four Rangers officials were injured in the explosions, of which one succumbed to injuries. The three injured officials along with 11 passersby were shifted to Chandka Medical Hospital for treatment.
Soon after the incident, police reached the site and cordoned off the area to begin a search operation. Police officials have arrested two suspects thus far.
In March, two Rangers check posts in Karachi were attacked by unidentified men within the span of four minutes. No loss of life was reported.
TTP claim responsibility for killing army men in Karachi
Separately, at least two security personnel were killed on Tuesday after unidentified gunmen fired on their vehicle near Parking Plaza in Karachi’s Saddar area.
“They were the soldiers of the security agency who were critically injured,” Karachi police chief Mushtaq Mehar told reporters. “One was later martyred,” he said. A day after the attack, a faction of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif strongly condemned the attack targeting Rangers personnel in Larkana.
Nawaz expressed “deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious life of one of the personnel and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul”, a press statement released by the PM House said.
