The 54th National Men and 15th National Women (open) Swimming Championship will begin at the DHA Swimming Pool Complex in Lahore today.
The three-day championship is being organised under the auspices of the Pakistan Swimming Federation (PSF) and the Pakistan Women’s Swimming Association (PWSA) and will feature 19 events each for men and women.
Will fight for those not going, says Rio bound Russian athlete
PSF President Major Majid Waseem told The Express Tribune that the championship will also serve as the trials for two of the upcoming major assignments — the Asian Swimming Championship to be held in November in Tokyo, Japan and the 14th FINA Swimming Championship to be held in Windsor, Canada in December.
